My wife woke up this morning and got a message from a friend of hers. One of her best friends had passed away completely unexpected. And while the situation about her passing has many layers, here's the super sad part of this story. She's leaving behind a son, who is the same age as my middle kid. Before I get into some commentary on the situation, let me just say that I hurt for her family. And the thought of this little kid not having their mother in their life at such a young age is devastating. I will continue to pray for her family and I hope if you are the praying type, you could as well. As for the death of my wife's friend, this is where things get really tough.
