I spent almost a week in Athens, a city that many would describe as the cradle of democracy, philosophy, and classical art. Whether you love or hate the modern version of it, it is definitely a city that played a central role in shaping Western civilization. I do not visit Athens so often, and usually when I do, I do not have time to walk around as much as I want.
