Happy Tuesday Hivers! Our backyard has some trees, though not very many but when the leaves start to fall, they can really make the surroundings messy because they scatter all over the ground. That’s why we sweep every morning and afternoon. Sometimes, it can get quite tiring. But now, I’ve come to appreciate having lots of fallen leaves because we actually use them. We’ve started planting, and we mix dry leaves into the soil we use for our plants. We place the dry leaves at the bottom first, then cover them with soil. This method helps improve the soil and makes the plants grow healthier. This is what kept my mom and me busy yesterday. We transferred the dry leaves into individual pots and covered them with soil. After adding the soil, we watered them thoroughly. Then, we planted our seedlings spinach, tomatoes, and bell peppers.
