Despite the rough time we had at the bus station in my city, we managed to leave. As we crossed the bridge—which, by the way, wasn’t close enough to the window for me to take a picture of it—I stayed awake the whole trip; I couldn’t get used to sleeping with the bus moving, but we were already past El Tigre, and our destination was definitely Puerto La Cruz—a 6- or 7-hour drive at most. Around noon, we estimated we’d arrive around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, keeping in mind that the bus only made one stop for food and the restroom. The view of Barcelona is spectacular.
