This evening I was at a family gathering and The Disney Channel was on in the background, playing a movie called The Lion King. It looked different than I remember it and someone said it was a remake. I remember the 90s version. Here is the Hakuna Matata ("no worries") scene from this 2019 The Lion King remake. It has 1.4 Million views. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsY1ECOJsCw Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsY1ECOJsCw So this 2019 remake is done in photo realistic computer graphics. The original was a regular cartoon. You can see the difference if you compare the video above, from the 2019 remake, with this video of animals singing Wimoweh (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) in the original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJZ7AuFrKhQ Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJZ7AuFrKhQ This song (Wimoweh) has an interesting history what you can read about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TheLionSleepsTonight Seems it was originally written in 1939 by Solomon Linda in South Africa
