Many of us in Nigeria, as it stands now, have been wishing we had power — maybe even supernatural power — to totally stop the insecurity in the country. If such power were put in our hands, a good percentage of us would do the unimaginable, both good and bad. Okay, so before picking up my phone to draft this, I came across a post on Facebook about some bandits in northern Nigeria who were caught when they went out to carry out their usual kidnapping. They were arrested and handed over to the law. After several court trials, they were granted bail. By who? The governor of the state was so confused about how the bandits were released on bail. It’s very obvious that someone with more superior power than him ordered(and paid for) their release. So, in a country like mine, having money alone can’t fight insecurity. Power must be added, and if possible, supernatural power. Yeah, that’s the truth. If I had money, would I fight insecurity in my neighbourhood? No! Money alone can’t solve it. Th
