Two years ago, 100,000 Hive Power would give $1+ on a post. People who had 100,000 Hive Power or more were seen as whales on the blockchain. In the middle of last year (2025), you need to see how I was moving around seeking help from these people who had up to 100,000 HP to help support a community that I and others run. Even with the crypto dip, having 100,000 HP was still valuable because it could give up to $0.6 on a post when voted with 100%. But as it looks now, I doubt 100,000 HP would tip up to $0.5 when used at 100%. But nevertheless, if I woke up one day and met 100,000 HP on my account, the first thing I would do is go and resurrect my community, which has been asleep for two weeks now. Although the vote won't be a big one since the dip has affected the earnings on posts, it will still be very encouraging and attract people to come by.
