Exploring the New Park There are a few favourite parks where I take my dog for daily walks. These regular parks are lovely, but sometimes my dog and I need a fresh, new experience. Discovering somewhere new is good for our brains and mental health, as everyone knows. My dog looks so happy when he gets to explore new smells and bump into new buddies. My husband suggested visiting a park we had never been to before. It isn’t far from our place, but interestingly, we had never had a chance to explore it. There’s a golf course across from the park, and we often watch golfers from our car, which is probably why we never thought to check the other side until now. The entrance doesn’t look busy at all, so the park feels somewhat hidden in the forest. There was still snow on the ground, and the air was a bit chilly that day.
