So our beach improvement project continues to move forward building our new Pier. The old pier was damaged in a hurricane several years ago and has been closed for use. They are still tearing out the old pier and then rebuilding the new pier in the same place, then they will remove the temporary construction pier. I like the way it shows the name and the two piers sticking out. Overall was a great day out. I'm thinking of copying others New Year's tradition of a beach walk.
