Hello, how are you? I've been on a hiatus from making art for the past few weeks now, and I told myself today that it should stop. Luckily, oil pastel saved me from the brink of art block again. The story behind this art is that my mom bought oranges a few weeks ago, and I tasted one, and it is the sweetest and juiciest orange I have ever tasted, so I grabbed three of them for photo reference in the future if I wanted to draw or paint again, and here I am editing what I documented LOL. Materials I Used: Paper Oil Pastel Tissue Scraping Tool Let's Draw! I make sure all the materials I need are in easy-access parts so that I can draw freely and with less stress. And then using the red shade, I draw the proportions of the orange with light pressure and just do it with the flow, don't worry about detail, trust me. I layer that sketch with the same oil pastel, but this time I outline with more pressure. I like to block the color I am going to use by layering it lightly into the drawing, and
