Hello, Hive Friends! Warm greetings to all of you, especially those who enjoy reading about everyday life and simple joys. Today, I don’t have much to share, but I wanted to give a small update about my day and connect with you through the meals I prepared. For lunch and dinner, I cooked two dishes: paksiw na isda (fish stewed in vinegar) and pritong isda (fried fish). I don’t know the exact names of the fish I used, but they were fresh and perfect for these simple meals. • Paksiw na Isda: A tangy Filipino dish where fish is simmered in vinegar, garlic, and spices • Pritong Isda: Crispy fried fish, simple yet satisfying I enjoyed these dishes alone, since my family is far away from me. The only companion I have here is Cardo, my furbaby chow chow, who keeps me company and makes my days brighter. Even though I eat by myself, having Cardo nearby makes me feel less alone.
