I reckon the nature of one's job determines whether they'll work from home or go to the office. For remote jobs, like virtual assistants and others, working from home is a piece of cake. In fact, the obvious choice. But for roles like sales representatives, marketing executives, health workers, instructors, etc, working from the office isn't an option, or should I say, is a must. As a marketing executive in a radio station, being in the office is a must. My job demands that I be out in the field, meeting new people, pitching our station, exploring new opportunities, and more. So I navigate between the office and the field. Once at the office, I plan my day, then hit the field to prospect and pitch my station. Afterwards, I return to the office to wrap up. Just this morning, I visited a new business near my office and pitched my radio station to them - that's something I wouldn't have done from home.
