A warm hello to all my friends in this lovely community. I’m delighted to be here with you to share my adventures with Canela. Canela is a mixed-breed poodle who came into my arms when she was two months and thirteen days old. She turned seven on 10 March. And I can tell you that ever since Canela came into our home, she has filled it with magic and love. Although I once had a large dog that used to run all over the garden, my daughter Luz Helena was very afraid of him and would get very nervous whenever he came near. Eventually Zeus passed away, and at that point I thought that a small dog might provide emotional support for my daughter, helping her to overcome her fears and feel less alone. I told my family and friends that if they heard of a small dog in need of a home, they should let me know straight away – and that’s exactly what happened.
