It's called Parque Negra Hipólita, and it's something like a green lung for the city, a faint vestige of what the city looked like before urbanization and progress arrived. It's a beautiful place full of grass, trees, bamboo, and even a river, which, although polluted today and not at its best, was once abundant, crystal clear, and beautiful. I went there with my family during the Easter break in search of some fresh air and also as an escape from the daily grind. We had a wonderful day eating fried chicken surrounded by trees and nature. I know, I know fried chicken isn't exactly a picnic food 😄, but we were all really craving it. Plus, while we were there, we ran into one of my cousins, so she joined our picnic and we had a lovely time. She told us some funny stories and we enjoyed ourselves. We also too
