Cherry blossom season in Japan is certainly the highlight of the year, thrilling and enchanting many people all over Japan. But on the other hand, it’s like so many things in life—you know what’s coming and what to expect. And that’s a good thing, because it allows you to get ready for this magnificent spectacle. And because you already have a pretty good idea of where the best views might be, you can plan quite well where you should definitely stop by in the spring. Like, for example, this one park, where I come every year at this time of year to see a few very special trees. And what can I say, it’s always worth it, even if the weather wasn’t quite on my side this year. But it was still rewarding, and I was treated to almost the same view as in previous years.
