Today we are back in Tokyo, the Japanese capital. During my visits to Tokyo, I have already explored many different corners of this wonderful metropolis and discovered a great deal of places. And I have realized that, although I like to visit the spots that everyone else visits, I also like to take a look behind unassuming corners to see if there might be something interesting hidden there. This is how I ended up with my many photos, which all reflect the charm of this great city in different ways. This is also true of today's three pictures, each of which shows a different statue. Picture number 1 shows a Buddhist statue, more precisely a Kannon Bodhisattva, also known as the βGoddess of Mercy.β I discovered it on a beautiful spring day in a park, where it was flanked by a few cherry trees in bloom.
