During our recent visit to my parents' house, it was the time they stepped out because they were attending a wedding. So it was hubby and I that were left. Before leaving, my mom already gave us instructions on what to cook for lunch. It was the salmon belly. As you may know, salmon belly is one of the best parts of the fish. It's tender and has natural oils that can enhance a soup. So, what we decided to cook is a sinigang, a beloved Filipino soup, that is sour yet comforting. Ingredients: • 500 g salmon belly • 1 big bunch pechay • 2 medium tomatoes • 2 small red onions • 3 cloves garlic • 1 thumb-size ginger • 2 pieces green chili • 1 pack sinigang mix • 2 tablespoons fish sauce • 1 teaspoon black pepper • 1 teaspoon salt • 5-6 cups water Step-by-step procedure: • Heat about 1 tablespoon of cooking oil... then add the garlic, red onions, sliced ginger, and the tomatoes. Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper, then sauté for about 1-2 minut
