Yesterday was one of those days when you get home exhausted, but with that feeling that it was totally worth it. Lots of music, fun, and people. Wow, I’ve never seen this square so packed! This weekend, my city is hosting "Rock Day," which is actually not just one day, but three, and it kicked off on Friday with an old-school band and one of the most renowned punk bands here in Brazil. It’s hard to believe those old guys can still get up on stage. Garotos Podres, what an amazing band! Yesterday it was the turn of Nação Zumbi, a very famous band in Brazil. I personally haven’t listened to them that much, but I know a few of their songs. I took my son to experience their sound, and he really liked it. I didn’t have a nice cold beer this time because I’m taking medication, and that wouldn’t have been very wise. Maybe that was the first time I’ve ever gone to a rock show without having an ice-cold beer, but it was still really great. I took some photos during the show. The crowd was really
