This church holds a deep symbolism in my life, something that brings back memories of my childhood. Being able to fly over it after so many years with my drone was a nostalgic feeling, but also a bit sad when seeing the condition it is in. It is a very old church, perhaps one of the first in the region. I remember once my grandfather mentioned that it stopped operating when he was still a child, due to the difficulty of access, since there is still a river between the church and the town. As a child, I used to go there sometimes. We would say it was haunted, but back then its roof was still intact. Now, after so much time, I realize that time can be harsh, but it is also impressive to see the power of nature embracing a structure created by man. How much longer will it stand there?
