They seem to be smart birds. They are united - when one has lunch, everyone else has it simultaneously. When I arrived at this place where I promised myself a few months ago that I would return (check here in case you want to see my promise) everyone had their heads buried in the water. Is that possible? All the flamingos were so shy and busy looking for tasty morsels. Fortunately, I had time and patience, so I was able to wait for those individuals who from time to time decided not to be so shy and show themselves. Mostly, it happened every few seconds that some of the flamingos in the flock raised their heads just enough to breathe air and that's it - back into the water. It was like a game, I had to wait to see who would be next to raise their head. Other times I followed the same bird and waited for that second he would breathe.
