The sun was shining, the weather was quite hot, and the waters looked pretty calm. I was a little bit envious of the people I saw kayaking on the water; it was a scorcher of a day, and to get to where the bridge is in these images, it was a long walk down a steep, winding pathway. I think feeling the splash of some cool water would have been pretty refreshing, and I was tempted to ask some of the kayakers to send some water my way. All throughout this area as you get further down the streams and away from the larger reservoir, there were so many people taking advantage of the day, and it seemed to be quite a peaceful way to try and beat the heat.
