It is one of the favorite places to walk around and experience nature, wildlife, and some escape from the sounds of the city. Weaselhead Natural Area is on the southwest end of Calgary and is bordered by the Glenmore Reservoir on the east and the lands of the Tsuut’ina Nation, a First Nations reserve, on the west. Water and winding streams and canals are what make up the landscape here, along with forests and some muddy pathways, so even if you're not going in the water, you can expect to get a little wet. You might also need to be ready to leap over some puddles along the paths or turn back, as there is often no other way around.
