Hi, everyone! March is almost over, and before it ends, I wanted to show you my entry for the art challenge organized by @nftshowroom and @alienarthive, whose theme this time is folklore. Iβd been trying to write this post for a few days, but due to some personal issues, I hadnβt been able to get to it. But here I am again, this time with a new illustration, where I wanted to capture a little piece of Venezuela through pixel art, blending the traditional, the natural, and a bit of our cuisine. The illustration I created features a musical instrument at its center, which at first glance looks like a guitar, but it isnβt a guitar. This is a very Venezuelan musical instrument that, unlike the guitar, is smaller and has four strings. Its name is Cuatro, and along with maracas and the harp, itβs part of our traditional music, known as joropo or llanera music.
