In March, there was a sudden downpour two days ago following a severe drought, which has been hard on the plants—some of them are drying out. I’ll tell you that last month, one of the ixoras was pruned, leaving it quite mangled because it had so many dry branches. But it’s been a month now, and I can see that some branches are sprouting new growth. It brings me joy, because I can see that the pruning wasn’t in vain. By the way, the ixora cuttings have sprouted leaves after a month, but they don't have roots yet. Maybe they just need a few more days. As for the cuttings I brought back three months ago from the double cayenne pepper field, they did take root. So I went ahead and transplanted them into recyclable bags.
