Have you ever felt the existence of two parallel worlds—the child’s and the adult’s? Today, I visited Pani Liuda. We drank coffee brewed in a copper cezve in her tiny kitchen, sharing stories—her world meeting mine. I felt such a profound sense of ease after our talk. Walking home, I realized that Pani Liuda invites me over to feel like a mother again; her daughter lives in Israel, and her grandson passed away from cancer. In return, I find someone who listens without judgment, accepting me exactly as I am. It’s a beautiful energy exchange: I get to be near a mature woman free of impulsive outbursts, and she receives the empathetic "kitchen-table" conversations every mother dreams of. I walked home feeling truly adult, elegant, and seen. Children still perceive the world as a fairy tale, a game, a burst of pure joy.
