As much as I enjoy flying, I hate to take the odd hours midnight and very early morning flights. Today I travelled to Mumbai again after 4 months. Since mine is a staff ticket and subject to load travel, I have to always check on the flight seat status. There are 2 flights in a day, one at 9.15 a.m. and another one at 5.15 a.m. I had initially booked the 9.15 flight, but 2 days before I checked the seat status and the flight showed full. There was 90% chance of me getting offloaded, so not taking that chance I shifted on the 5.15 early morning flight. Which means I had to leave home latest by 3 a.m. to be there well in time. Airport is not very far from home; it's a 20 mins drive. To leave at 3 I had to wake up at 2.30. I had kept all the bags packed ready at night. Morning, I had to get ready and leave. Again, it's a short flight so I could not catch up on sleep on the flight, by the time I landed I had a heavy head. Night sleep is important for me. The 9.15 flight would have been ide
