Amidst the work and progress on the house, I'm still doing a few homesteady things! We bred the rabbits a little bit ago, so they need some nesting boxes to raise the kits in. That was a quick project with a few screws, a bucket, and a board. One of the buns took to her nesting pretty quick, while the other decided she'd rather Chew up the yummy wood. Oh, hai bun I also got a new axe. I've never owned a full size axe before, and I really don't know where on my property I need it, but I'll be more helpful to friends now. And I'll be able to do some more serious work at the woods too. High on my list of things to do is to turn that place into a real haven. I've been playing around with it on a some of my big logs that I use for garden borders. Just getting a feel for the tool and making wood chips.
