I drew these at our drawing club — from the live model. Except, well… the “live model” was ourselves! Three of us took turns striking poses. We started the session with a few quick two-minute warm-ups, then moved on to ten-minute poses. My weapon of choice was a graphite stick — 8B. I don’t know what you call it in English. I myself just went to the stationery shop and said, “Can I get… one of these?” It looks like a pencil, but instead of wood it’s wrapped in plastic. If you’re curious about the club vibe or want to see the other artists’ works, I posted more photos and a bit of the story at the end of this post, down here. Original content written in Persian by me. Translated into English with ChatGPT. All ideas, Persian text & photos are mine.
