Today was a really tough and very fun day, tough by my own choice because I want to make the most of our three day stay here in Drenthe. After breakfast I went out on my mountain bike and headed to a nearby mountainbike track in Ruinen for a total of 34km of which 60% was off-road. It was cold with only two degrees above freezing but it was sunny and the forest was beautiful, the grass on some parts was still frozen and crispy. The mountain bike track was 19km and the longest so far I have ever done, there are a lot of tracks like this in this area so unfortunately I have to choose and can't ride them all. When I was home I hopped in the shower and cleaned my bike, washed my clothes and then we got in the car to get some groceries, when we got back I had a coffee and I went to the swimming pool with my youngest daughter. After an hour of playing together we went back and I relaxed for an hour and then we got in the car again to eat out at a local restaurant. 7:21pm now and I'm glad I c
