Today is our last full day here in Drenthe, tomorrow morning before 10am we have to leave our rental house and go back home so I really, really wanted to make the toughest planned ride for this holiday although the weather conditions weren't very favourable, 35km/h wind, rain and even some hail... But I went anyway and the ride in the woods was challenging but a lot of fun, the ride home was the hardest because of the wind and heavy rain, the last 5km was on a completely soaked sand path with a lot of rolling resistance plus headwind so I was glad I was back so I could take a hot shower and clean my bike of the worst sand and mud. I learned a small lesson, which in hindsight was kinda obvious... On mtb tracks I need to put my tail light in my backpack because on rough terrain it will break and fall so now I need a new tail light 😑 This report was published via Actifit app (Android | iOS).
