There are a ton of series released all the time and for the most part I rarely make it very far in them. We are spoiled for choice these days and therefore I am very quick to abandon a series if it even momentarily starts to lose momentum or starts to look like a re-hash of something else that is similar to it. There are loads of series that I walk away from really quick with the ones that come to mind right away being "The Pitt" and "Rise of the Merlin." I'm not dedicated to one particular genre of series and will watch anything that is done well. It can be fantasy, action, romance, drama, you name it; I'm not fussy about the topic matter as long as it is done well. src I think that Steve Carell is a pretty fantastic actor that has done well to avoid being typecast after his career started off in a silly (but entertaining) way with things being comedies where he is a caricature of a real person. I have seen him in several serious films and you probably have as well. Foxcatcher put him
