I got another good night of sleep which allowed me to feel pretty good this morning. I was still up before the family so enjoyed a coffee so that I could head to the gym for an early strength training session. After a short warm up on the treadmill, I headed to my bench area to lift heavy today. I tested my back with deadlifts but kept it short as I could feel some strain. However, I did get good reps and sets for the rest of my body which got me a bit tired. Since I was early, I headed to the Spa for some recovery. I spent some good time there which felt pretty good for my back. After a shower, I was headed back home to spend the rest of the day with the family. Had some good food to restore my body’s need and was able to keep it healthy with a protein focus. Played some board games to end the day as the week will be a bit crazy with some upcoming travel.
