As Splinterlands continues to expand its land and crafting systems, I’ve been spending more time reassessing one resource in particular: Aura. On paper, Aura should be one of the most valuable land outputs in the ecosystem. Every new consumable, item, or crafting path introduced so far requires Aura in some form. It’s clearly positioned as a foundational input for the future of crafting in Splinterlands. From a design perspective, that makes perfect sense. And yet… the reality today feels very different.
