ENGLISH VERSION (click here!) Hello, travelers from around the world. I have so many places to show you from my recent visit to Trujillo State. Continuing my journey, my next stop was the Bicentennial Armistice Monument. This memorial is located just past the El Prado roundabout, a couple of minutes’ walk away, very close to El Prado Park. It was erected to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the treaties agreements designed to establish certain measures for prisoners without disregarding their humanity with the aim of bringing an end to the war that was raging at the time. The Bicentennial Armistice Monument is an outdoor public space. We thought it was closed, but the gates surrounding it were open, so we entered without any trouble. There are benches for visitors, as well as pillars without flags flying from them.
