ENGLISH VERSION (click here!) Hello, travelers from around the world. Happy Saturday to everyone. Last Holy Thursday marked the start of a new motorcycle adventure for Ricardo and me. Our route took us through several towns and tourist spots in the state of Trujillo specifically its capital city of the same name and then on to Mérida and its enchanting páramo. These states are part of the Venezuelan Andes, those mountainous regions with a cold climate and breathtaking landscapes that leave you speechless. Our route started in the beautiful city of Maracaibo, where we live, and continued along the Lara-Zulia Highway that connects western Venezuela. About 30 minutes into the trip, I got my first cramp. I don’t know why, but I was a little tense, and so was my body, so I took a muscle relaxant to calm my nervous system a bit, since it was only the beginning of the trip.
