Happy Monday, blogging friends, how are you? Here I am again for a short trip around the city where I'm moving. Today we went to Pieve a Nievole, a small town located just before Montecatini. The road to get there is partly the same as that for Montecatini. I really like it because it offers a pleasant view of various green spaces with tall pine trees and some beautiful houses. However, instead of continuing towards Montecatini, to get to Pieve a Nievole you take a junction and turn left. However, as the name suggests, this town is also part of the wide Val di Nievole. It owes its name to a small parish church that was once well-known to pilgrims. Today, it is a very populous town, even though in the past, like many surrounding towns, it was predominantly rural and inhabited by farmers. Today, it has been completely redeveloped, so much so that it has become one of the most popular towns in the valley, where real estate agents try to sell as many houses as possible.
