Today it's been a long time since I've been to the Agliana area, so my husband and I, since we were visiting the area, decided to explore a part of the town we hadn't seen. Agliana is a fairly large municipality, divided into various hamlets, some smaller and more urban, some rural, and others more urban. It's a very busy transit area, both because it's crossed by one of the main roads connecting Pistoia to Prato and other neighboring cities, and because it's full of businesses of all kinds. Every year, it's increasingly expanding, often to the detriment of the rural areas, where new buildings and supermarkets are being built, which obviously doesn't please local merchants.
