Stations are places that have always fascinated me, places of departures and arrivals, memories, dreams, hopes. Stations are a crossroads of people and emotions, but also, unfortunately, sometimes a great chaos or a great tranquility, depending on the station. Let's start with Montecatini. It's a small, classic station, with modern, marble-like lines, surrounded by parking lots. The interior of the station is very clean, which surprised me—a rare thing in stations. It even has a classic, slightly vintage Italian station look, with wooden doors and windows. As soon as you exit the station, you immediately see a row of typical local houses, and you can glimpse the outskirts of Montecatini's center.
