How Skateboarding Led Me Into Photography and Film. After talking about my skate journey ¨20 years of skateboarding life¨, it feels right to now share the role photography and video have played in my path. It’s been around 10 years since I first stepped into this universe, and one thing has become very clear: you never really stop learning. Looking back, these 10 years fall into two very different phases. The first five were driven by an amateur mindset, pure curiosity, and that classic do-it-yourself spirit. It was more about experimenting than understanding technique. Even without fully knowing what I was doing, I kept creating and today I see how essential that time was.
