If you an OG hiver and were around on Steem before the fork, you may remember the game called nextcolony. When the fork happened they made the decision NOT to follow and instead let the project die. I don't remember now, but I don't think that there was any effort to opensource the game, or sell it to someone else. It just died. Now if you go to the old URL you end up on a canabis site. I don't know if its legit, so I didn't include a link. That is something that I find frustrating about the internet, it is nearly impossible to retain that culture for the ages.
