This is also one of our favourite places to visit, as it is very peaceful. There was also another reason for our visit, that I will show you at the end of the post. The wind was up but unfortunately it could not break the blazing heat in the day, so just imagine two figures jumping out of a car and rushing to the nearest tree for shade. And this is how we walked to the park from one tree to another. But at least I had a good time to get some shots in to show you around, as the walk was slow and pleasant. Many people also walk their dogs in this park, and as a river runs along the one side, with deep pools, people let their dogs swim in it. I have posted it over the years, several times before, as we love this park. We have been at two dog shows here, as well as a tree planting day with plaques for everyone's departed animals, and we come by for pancakes and coffee at a mobile food truck.
