Actually, English isn't my native language, so there's definitely a chance I didn't pick the right word. In Czech, I'd say something like "podmanivý". The foliage turns into so many different shades ‒ from yellow through orange, ochre, red, and into brown. And the forests wrap themselves in blankets of fog. It gets colder and damper more often, but when the sun breaks through the clouds, all those colors just light up. From an artistic perspective, fall is a beautiful time. But personally, I'm not a fan.
