Yesterday I published an article with photos of the Moon. I took it with a 600 mm telephoto lens, which is a suitable focal length for similar photos. But what if someone has a "really good" telescope? Something that has quality optics and quality glass or mirror. Something that can be used to observe the Moon in great detail. Can parts of the lunar landscape be observed at high magnification? In some cities there are observatories and astronomical societies. Perhaps it would be worth contacting them, finding out what technology they have and what their capabilities are.
