English version Today’s travel destination takes us to the crystal-clear waters of Güirintal Beach. As you may have noticed from my previous posts, I find the marine ecosystem fascinating, which is why I share with you every experience from my adventures exploring nature. Güirintal is a beach located on the outskirts of the city of Cumana, a somewhat hidden paradise that I can reach with relative ease. Perhaps the most impressive thing about this place is that the beach is shallow; you have to walk at least 80 meters out to find a spot to swim, so it’s perfect for younger children to play and have fun. Upon arriving, I observed a flock of pelicans gathering on a small pier jutting out into the sea; there they rested while taking turns going out to fish. It was fascinating to witness a violent scene among them: a seagull had managed to catch a fish after diving into the sea, and as it took flight again, an aerial battle ensued with other seagulls and terns trying to snatch the fish away
