Last week, I had the chance to travel to Malapascua, and even if it was just a short trip, it became one of the most refreshing experiences I’ve had lately. We actually went there just to play for a band gig, but even with that simple reason, the trip turned out to be something special. We stayed on the island for one night, and that overnight stay was enough for me to appreciate how peaceful and naturally beautiful Malapascua is. When we arrived on the island, the first thing that welcomed us was the clear blue water and the soft sea breeze. The place felt quiet and relaxing—very different from the busy towns and noisy streets. Walking on the shore made me feel calm because the sand was soft and the waves were gentle.
