Publishing has become a high risk sport these days. Between the constant 18 to 20 hour daily power outages and an internet connection that sometimes just won't start; moving like a lame, blind, pregnant tortoise… uploading a post feels like a phenomenal victory. But here we are. This time, I’m sharing a selection of photos from the latest "Guayaba" competition, a topic I’ve noticed you all enjoy among my posts. Unlike other times when I carry my entire arsenal of manual lenses, this time I decided to go for what’s practical and reliable: I used my Canon 5D Mark III paired only with the Canon 70-300mm f4-5.6. Even though you know I’m a lover of vintage glass, the autofocus of the 70-300mm was key to capturing the speed and intensity of the riders without missing a single detail. Despite the logistical limitations in the country, the passion for the sport and for capturing these moments remains intact.
