Putting God first isn't simply a phrase, it means giving Him active devotion and surrender. What happens when we don't give God His rightful place? God warns the people who have prioritized their own comfort over His purposes: King Solomon, who prioritized God's agenda over his own, asked for wisdom to fulfill God's call and in return, God gave him far more than he requested. Why? Because Solomon put God's interests first. You and I have the same choice today. We can be like Solomon and enjoy the blessings that come from prioritizing God. Or we can follow the example of the Israelites in Haggai's time, who faced lack and frustration
