English version Every beach in Sucre State has its own charm, and although I’ve visited Caigüire several times, no two experiences are ever the same. The sea looks different because it reflects what’s happening in the sky, and on this occasion it was a bit cloudy, so the water was murky, there was a strong breeze, and of course plenty of waves; you could hear the sound of them crashing again and again against the massive rocks of the seawall. Walking by the sea is always a relaxing experience, regardless of the day of the week or the weather conditions—with the exception of thunderstorms, of course. On this particular day, the sun was hidden behind the clouds, so the air was cool. Because the waves were so strong, the water turned dark and choppy, but if you strained your eyes further out, toward the opposite shore, you could make out the blue hue, which in turn hinted at the depth of the beach and a clear sky in the distance.
