English version The state of Sucre offers many options for enjoying a day at the beach; the most popular ones are located in the San Luis, Caigüire, and El Peñon areas. However, the most attractive options are found along the Marigüitar route—relatively nearby spots you can visit in the morning and return from in the afternoon. The first step is to head to the bus terminal on Las Palomas Avenue, where you’ll board the bus bound for Marigüitar. If you’re unfamiliar with the route, it’s recommended to sit on the side of the bus facing the ocean so you can keep an eye on landmarks, enjoy the scenery, and watch for signs indicating the names of the beaches.
