English version Nature reveals itself through breathtaking landscapes, and Sucre State boasts nearly every possible setting—with the exception of snow-capped mountains—but it does have incredible beaches, rivers, and mountains. Given its extensive coastline, people often think of the sea when they think of the region; however, on this occasion, I’m going to share my experience in the mountainous area of Juana Josefa. I stopped to photograph the hill, right at the entrance to the beach, where the name Juana Josefa is inscribed on white stones—a simple yet distinctive and eye-catching design. This is yet another example of the creativity in these areas that aim to attract visitors. The view of the beach, from the perspective offered by the mountain, is spectacular. The road is flanked by two breathtaking views: on one side, towering mountains abound, and on the other, the vast blue of the sea—a perfect contrast.
